MFF has worked.

Thanks Bug.

As per most postings above, my WSOD resulted fm leaving the PM medium.

There is perhaps? a glitch in the wiggly amps there?

There seems to be an issue with the forum software and the way it manages cookies

Cookies are little files that are stored on your computer so your browser knows what you have read and where you have been. This is how the forum can tell you if there are new posts etc.

On all browsers there is a way of deleting cookies. Also on the logion screen for the forum there is a link that says "clear the cookies for this forum".

My experience is that clearing cookies in this way can clear the problem.

But it is an odd one. Can't really get to the bottom of it I am afraid.:?

Looks like I've my Laptop has got 'new strain' WSOD disorder. Clearing the cookies does not work, clearing the cache does not work and even using another browser as well as MSE and MFF does not work.

Having to use my notebook to access forum which takes a little getting used to.
