Nice to see the DV's at a Club Social; and scoffing their plates worth and chewing the cud with the Rest of us.
I am (working) on The Maharajah ...after ALL the food biz we have put their way over the last many years; to Sponsor some boxes of balls for the coming season.
In the last several years The M has had the likes of FULL Sussex Cricketers scoff there (Adams for starters [so to spk] ); so the cookie has at last crumbled when I mentioned it 5 weeks ago.
The tricky bit is colloquialism AND explanation...however, I am getting there 9it does take time) BUT it aint easy!
